The February Fly-in was a great success if you take into account that 21 planes registered and we had a total of 23 planes and 45 people attend, for a beautiful day in the sky. The windsock was hanging down from the time we arrived till the time we departed.

We filled the small parking ramp to capacity and then some. The casino said we were the largest fly-in group to ever show up. We had a beautiful view of Lake Havasu from the restaurant, while we waited and waited for our lunch.

While some went to the casino after lunch and lightened their pockets, others took the 20-minute boat ride across the lake to see London Bridge and the local sights.

How many people figured out how to pronounce the name of the airport and thought the airport was a dirt runway??
