Well folks, a great time was had at our California City fly-in on December 11th. The WX throughout
So-Cal couldn't have offered us a better day. The catered brunch coordinated by D&T Aircraft was absolutely excellent as well as reasonable. There was an abundance of food and we all had our fill. Members were actually raving about it long after our meal.
We followed brunch with a brief meeting of introductions and our taxi strategy. Our grand entrance Mooney parade was a hit as 28 Mooney's taxied from D&T Aircraft to the Terminal.
Once parked we presented Santa and his helpers with well over $1000.00 in children's gifts thanks
to the generosity of our VMG members. The Marine Reserves were impressed enough to ask us to join them again next year.
We then had the opportunity to mill around a large display of Hot Rods & Antique Cars, as well as Motorcycles.

You really couldn't have asked for a better
fly-in. We all had a great flight, as well as helping the less fortunate kids. Can it get any better than that? If you feel that you missed out, not to worry, just be sure to make it next year.
