It looks like we can chalk up yet another successful fly-in held on September 27th at Big Bear City Airport. Our
own Brent Russell commanded the BBQ, and whipped us up the marinade chicken and teriyaki burgers. 63
Vintage Mooney fanatics showed up in 34 planes. We pleasingly found many new faces among our attendee's
and hope to see this continue at our upcoming fly-ins. Brian Briggerman was the winner of our Vintage Mooney
Group Jacket Raffle. We're sure you'll see him ware it proudly at one of our upcoming fly-ins.

At our meeting we discussed such issues as our primary purpose, fly-in dates, our motto of keeping it cheap & simple,
fundraisers, lunch costs, outside entertainment and activities, and hosting a fly-in at your airport. Many of our
attendee's offered valuable advice and input to assist us in making this an even better organized fly-in group.
Please remember that all of your opinions, ideas & suggestions count! We rely on all of you to make this work,
and keep it running strong.

Jan Turner of Las Vegas and Barbara Larson of San Diego were both kind enough to
post pictures of the Big Bear Fly-in on their web sites. You can see Jan's pictures at:

Barbara's pictures are posted at: http://members.cox.net/mooneybird/bigbear.htm
They both did a great job with the photos and their efforts are very much appreciated.

Thank you all for coming and we’ll hope to see you in Sedona!
