WX limited our turnout to three aircraft for the flyin campout. I decided to drive down and leave N78982 in the hangar so I wouldn't have to think about doing an IFR approach back into Ramona with strong winds. Two of the aircraft were first timers to VMG events. Mike and April from Lake Havasu came in a beautiful 62 M20C. Jason, his teenage son plus two of his son's schoolmates arrived from Apple Valley and Calif and Cathy flew in from MYF. He had to file hard IFR back into MYF today. The wind created some quite challenging landings for everyone.
