What a great day for a fly-in in Southern California.  The weather was severe VFR and it was 80 degrees and sunny.  Kevin & Darci Smith put on a great fly-in with homemade Tamales, Rice, Beans and Cookies.

A great lunch prepared by Kevin & Darci.  We celebrated Frank & Carol Gagliardi's 39th Wedding Anniversary, and Carl Swepston took a moment to say a few words about the passing of his partner/friend (as well as a friend of all of us at the VMG) to remember Keith Smothers who passed on last month due to a stroke.  We also handed out door prizes for a member who went to the first VMG fly-in at Jean NV, the oldest Mooney a 1959 Woodwing, shortest flight to Redlands.  A great time was had by all!
