Well, we had a great weather day for our fly-in to Phoenix Deer Valley.
The weather all week had been windy and turbulent, but on this day, we could not
have asked for better weather. Our hosts, Mert & Ann Bean put on a great
fly-in. Deer Valley is the #1 or #2 general aviation airport in the USA,
but the tower, Cutter Aviation, and the Restaurant took wonderful care of us
all.

Thank you Mert & Ann

Some people began arriving on Friday, who could take the day off, and enjoyed
the beautiful Phoenix weather and attractions. The bulk of the Mooneys
started showing up by 9am and continued all morning, interrupted only by the
arrival of a classic B25-H, the only model H flying in the world "Barbie III".
When the tower told him he was number 3 on downwind, the pilot responded, "I can
take care of that!" Look at the howitzer on the nose!
